Zap Cats are very fast and very wet boats originally designed for surf rescue organisations in South Africa they can handle all sea states. They are also raced around the world and are reputed to have the same power to weight ratio as a Ferrari.

The Zap Cat taster is an adrenaline fuelled blast around the bay taking in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park from the sea. Experiencing the speed and exhilaration of these boats is one thing but the manoeuvrability allows us to explore deep within caves and through narrow gullies.

The river cruises are carried out on the Cleddau Estuary which is part of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. This ancient wooded estuary is spectacular and is a great place to unwind with a group of friends. The landing craft allows a maximum of 12 people to bumble up the river and due to its shallow draft, access the creeks which lead to two good country pubs.

The RYA Level 1 course is a basic introduction to boat handling. This course covers the following.

This course is carried out along the coast and spectacular beaches and harbours of St Brides Bay. We will stop for lunch on an inaccessible beach and explore the caves and gullies of this impressive coastline.

The RYA Level 2 course is a comprehensive boat handling course. The syllabus is designed for the first time boat owner and an essential qualification for watersports instructors and is equivalent to the International Certificate of Competence for driving powerboats abroad. It also allows you to compete in the Zap Cat race series!
